About the manufacturer

TILEA® — a company
with deep roots

TILEA®'s story began back in 1896, when the great-grandfather of the current co-owner built the largest textile factory in the former Kingdom of Hungary. Another branch of the story is tied to the Považské Strojárne industrial complex, founded in 1929.

Over time the range expanded to textile floorings, and the company came to specialize in textile architecture and sports surfaces — its most dynamic and interesting segment.

Today TILEA has offices in Wrocław (Poland) and Prague (Czech Republic), and production in Považská Bystrica (Slovakia). A 125-year tradition demands long-term thinking: quality and lasting client relationships matter more than quick profit.
